Jordy Searcy is a fresh new voice on the indie American touring scene. With just one EP release under his belt in February 2018, 25-year-old Jordy has already booked & played over 500 shows across the country with his band.
Developing a loyal following of listeners (171k Spotify Monthly Listeners, 13.6k Instagram followers and over 5.3 Million digital Streams) Jordy frequently headlines to audiences of 200+ people in 10 or so main markets (most tickets are currently sold to college girls between the ages of 18-25). He’s no stranger to huge stages as a former contestant of NBC’s The Voice, but playing 150 shows a year to college audiences keeps touring an integral part of his business. Jordy’s sound has been described as “organic songwriter pop”. Catchy choruses & strong lyrical hooks laid over intricate organic arrangements make up the sound that is packing out venues across the US. Jordy’s music has been frequently compared to artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Vance Joy, Jeff Buckley, and Ed Sheeran.
Jordy is celebrated for his live show, (known for singing/looping into his guitar pickup, silencing a venue by playing a few songs unplugged, world-class guitar & vocal chops, crowd pleasing stage banter, ETC) but his greatest asset is his songwriting. Jordy’s 2018 EP Dark In The City was a critical success, earned him attention from Nashville publishers & managers, and opened the door to cowrites with the likes of Dave Barnes, Drew Holcomb, Jeff Pardo, Matt Wertz, Jeff Cohen, Ben Shive, and many others.

Faith is an integral part of Jordy’s journey, and he looks up to artists like Chance the rapper, U2, Kendrick Lamar, Jon Bellion, and others that have told the story of their faith to a wide-reaching, all-inclusive audience. Jordy donates as many performances as he can to a Christian organization called Young Life.
Jordy’s next steps are releasing an album in 2019 in an engaging way with the right team members. More broadly, jordy aims to have a steadily building career arc fed by consistent US touring, and providing the promotional support for yearly releases to grow his brand for years to come.
